I cannot say enough great things about this beautiful tote. As a CEO of a nonprofit organization that provides healing services to children and families - it just aligns in look, mission, and meaning with the work that I do. So many of my friends, peers and colleagues have complimented me on my Ubuntu heart tote. The engagement has allowed me to open the door to talk more about the Ubuntu Life ministry, and to uplift that my tote is more than an anesthetic, but it is an investment in helping and healing women across the world. My mother, who is 84 loved it so much so that I'll be gifting her one for her birthday. Have been using my bag for a little over a week. I love it! I usually carry leather bags and was a little nervous about changing it up but I love this bag! It's perfect for my everyday needs and is comfortable on my shoulder. Definitely happy I purchased this bag.
This bag is exceptionally well-made and beautiful, fitting my smaller laptop perfectly, and features an inside zipper pocket, as well as an outside pocket for cards and/or badge of some sort. Buy it you won't regret it! I absolutely love the red heart.
This bag is not only beautiful and unique, it truly feels like a piece of art. The craftsmanship is incredible, and I get compliments every time I wear it. What makes it even more special is knowing that my purchase supports Ubuntu Life’s amazing mission to empower artisans and create sustainable opportunities in Kenya. It’s rare to find something that’s both stylish and meaningful, but this bag does it all. I’ll definitely be back for more!
Lovely and well made bags- both the commuter and carryall in the black/olive combination. I have an earlier version from a few years ago in the white and black colors and they are still in excellent condition. The embroidered red heart is the perfect addition! Only comment though is that I miss the wrapped rolled leather handles that were on the white/ black version. Keep up the good work, I am honored to support this excellent company.
The bag is the perfect size for my trips to and from work as it holds my IPad, work pad and small purse. Sturdy leather handles and strap option for easy use. Zipper closure keeps in all inside. Love it!
I love the bag! The quality is fantastic, from the canvas, to the leather, to the zippers. It took me ages to find a tote bag with an outside pocket like this. I use it for everything: work, dinner, the gym.
The bag is the perfect size and I LOVE that it has a cross body strap, shoulder straps AND leather handles for carrying. It's so versatile and large enough to hold everything I need, but not so large that it feels like a weekender.
This bag is a great size for work, for travel. I like that the shoulder straps fold into the bag so I can use it as a work tote or crossbody bag but also can be pulled out and then the bag can zip closed for traveling. The bag feels sturdy and is made to last. Love it!

This bag is so on point, classic and stunning with all sorts of looks, and is VERY sturdy. The sewing and beading are very professional…. It gets “WOWs” from strangers. AND you are doing good by supporting Ubuntu! What’s not to like???

Love, love, love this bag! I can’t say enough good things about it. I purchased the carryall for travel but loved the print so much that I wanted a smaller version to use everyday. This bag did not disappoint. I’m able to fit my sling bag, paperback books, kindle, and iPad mini inside and still have room to spare. I love that you can carry it three ways - top handle, crossbody or over the shoulder. I don’t have to worry about losing anything since the bag zips. The key ring is a nice addition. I don’t have to hunt for my keys like I do when using other totes. I highly recommend. Very well-made and stylish, this bag is built to last. Definitely worth the money.
