FOR ALL is a care-focused, CBD enriched hair and skincare line, created by business partners Jamie Shira and Peggie Fort. Their shared vision to care for all humans led them to create an inspired collection of premium products composed of carefully considered ingredients enriched with CBD. They believe a ritual of care rooted in listening and reacting to the body’s daily needs has a powerful impact on our well being. It’s never too early—or late—to start caring.
Tell us about your craft?
Our craft at FOR ALL is creating premium CBD enriched hair and skincare products. We are also owners and operators of a salon and spa, where we bring our products to life by incorporating them into our client services. Our flagship salon is named after our brand, FOR ALL Salon + Spa is located in downtown Petaluma, California.
How did you learn your craft / what inspired you to start?
A passion for luxurious experiences and products. The dynamic energy of cannabis and a lifestyle rooted in the richness of health. We understand the spectrum of care needed throughout life. We are passionate about combining our experiences of working for great brands and founding best-in-class cannabis dispensaries to curate premium cannabis care products that showcase their restorative nature of modern wellness and make them accessible.
What motivated you to take your craft and make it your career/hobby?
We were inspired by the opportunity to create a woman-owned boutique brand that can bring premium body care products to the cannabis market. We are excited to bring unique products and an inclusive platform of discovery to consumers who aspire to incorporate the therapeutic benefits of cannabis into their daily care rituals. We are also believers that there is so much more this plant can do for our health and champion ongoing discovery and research.

What is the biggest obstacle you have faced while creating your craft/practice?
Initially finding a manufacturing partner that was comfortable working with CBD. Unfortunately, there are still many that are apprehensive about working with HEMP derived CBD, despite the passing of the farm bill. Currently, we face a new challenge, COVID, our salon has been now been shut down twice.
How do you live ubuntu in your own life?
Our passion to bring the brand FOR ALL into people’s lives was in an effort to celebrate a moment of connectedness, happiness, and eternal optimism. As a brand, we feel strongly that our products and services give that moment to everyone. Taking care of ourselves, our community, and celebrating the opportunity to care for others is the foundation of the FOR ALL brand.
At Ubuntu Life, we love style and encourage people to wear items that inspire them or make them feel confident. What are your favorite two items in your wardrobe that make you feel confident and/or the best version of yourself?
FOR ALL is a hair and skincare line and a salon & spa. Our two favorite items are our hair and our skin. Every day, we see how giving yourself a new hair cut or color, a simple styling, or the gift of pampering yourself with a facial can bring happiness and vitality. At For All, we love to celebrate ourselves every day by nourishing our skin and our hair.
