DESCRIPTION
Tonga baskets are handwoven by the Tonga people of southern Zambia, who are renowned for their basket weaving. Traditionally, the baskets were used for winnowing grain; they are now an African interior design collectible thanks to their distinctive pattern.
Constructed from ilala palm fronds and dyed with natural dyes, each one-of-kind basket takes up to two weeks to weave.
Use your basket as a functional catch-all or as a stunning wall-hanging, either solo or in a grouping.
